July 7, 2011
As i finally find the time to sit down and write beginning with the July title, I feel sad, yet happy at the same time. A month has gone by and so much has happened I have experienced so much and met so many great people. Getting fit has come upon me and I am changing myself for the better! I need to be healthy and fit for the wellness of me. Yet at the same time i haven't gotten much done. My summer is coming closer and closer to an end and what do I have to show for it? Summer if you could do me a favor, PLEASE SLOW DOWN!!!
I have some great friends! Three of them, three people that are always there. Each of them different! Each of them helping me face a different obstacle. Each one reminding me the amazing qualities about me. It feels good for someone to trust me, talk to me, and be NICE to me. I truly can't imagine how I have gotten through all i have but somehow by the grace of God I have. Alleluia!
4th of July has come and gone like clockwork. We had an incredible 4th of July. We didn't do our "normal" this year! We cleaned our house ALL day. then at 5 we headed to our country club to play on the bounce things and eat dinner. then at 9 o'clock we headed to our favorite spot on the peak of the driving range to watch our beloved fireworks. I video taped them and everything. And the best part, I felt happy. It was just us kids (Emily, Stephen, and I) up there in our "spot". Everyone but me were complaining and plugging ears and threatening to leave but I was happy sitting up there watching the sky's magnificent workings right before my very own eyes and no one was going to ruin my night.
What's next? Colorado 14- 18 cannot wait so excited, visiting hot springs, going to the baseball game, horse back riding, driving through the Rocky Mountain National park, white water rafting, and more, we will have the time of our young lives.
Oh! One last thing. SAN ANTONIO was amazing. We grew as a family. We did everything i mentioned before and mostly RELAXED!
As you can see my life is headed forward at full speed ahead!
July is... unique,
Sarah
